The Lauderhill Police Department is a progressive, community oriented police agency with an authorized strength of 128 sworn and 32 civilian personnel serving a culturally rich population of 71,693 people in South Florida. The City is situated on 8.3 square miles, is bordered by the Cities of Fort Lauderdale, Sunrise, Plantation, Lauderdale Lakes and Tamarac. The City of Lauderhill is the home of the Central Broward Regional Park, a 110 acre multi-purpose park that contains a world-class cricket stadium as well as many other amenities.

The Lauderhill Police Department is a professionally accredited law enforcement organization having been awarded the prestigious distinction of being accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) in June of 2005 and again in June of 2008.
